We are all hungry for success – some are blatantly showing the hunger and some prefer to be lowkey about their hunger. However it all comes down to… WE ARE ALL HUNGRY FOR NICE THINGS IN LIFE. How we will get where we want to be is dependent on how we think though.
Well first things first, you have to believe that you deserve your ideal lifestyle and that putting in the work will give you great results when all is said and done. If you just set goals and delay doing ‘stuff’, that might just make you lose interest. Sure, it’s a good thing to sit and fantasize about how beautiful things will be at the end but then again you have to do what you can with what you have that moment. You have to start somewhere – start small, start smart. “Rome wasn’t built in a day”
Also, surround yourself with those who have the same drive as you do and those that have pure motives for you – those that would definitely hold the spotlight for you to shine. You need people who can help you get where we need to be and just help people for nothing in return (it just helps with sleeping at night if you are a person who suffers from insomnia). What’s good for your soul and who is good for your soul is something you should take note of too.
Bear in mind, it is so not necessary to do what the majority is doing – we do not like the same things, we don’t value the same things, we don’t dream of the same things. We all have different definitions for the term ‘nice life’ even. Once you have figured out what you want to be, you need to adopt the fact that you might just be a little different from the crowd and that’s okay.
Once you decide to stop trying to impress people you do not know just to get their attention, things will start to unravel and you could ‘find’ yourself much quicker. Impress yourself – forget about proving yourself to others, prove yourself to yourself rather. As much as we all desperately want to live our ideal lifestyles, keep reminding yourself that we are all growing in different paces. Stick to your own personal lane and focus on your own growth.
